Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Place Hotel was a mixed bag. while the building's charm and friendly staff made for a welcoming atmosphere, the room's cleanliness and size left much to be desired. I loved the location's convenience for exploring Edinburgh, but I did find issues with air circulation and some amenities. Overall, it was a nice experience, but improvements could enhance future visits.
I had a mixed experience at The Place Hotel in Edinburgh. On the positive side, the location was fantastic. just a short walk from the Playhouse and shops, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I encountered some issues with the stairs, as there is no lift, which made lugging my bags quite an effort. The room was clean and spacious, but it felt a bit stuffy, and I struggled to get fresh air.
My stay at The Place Hotel in Edinburgh was a mix of highs and lows. The hotel's location was perfect for easy access to attractions and the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful. However, the room I stayed in was quite warm and a bit tricky to manage with the stairs (no lift, which was tough with luggage). Overall, the experience had its charms, particularly the attentive service, but some issues did slightly detract from my comfort.
I had a mixed experience at The Place Hotel. While the location was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the quality of the rooms and breakfast left much to be desired. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the high standards I had anticipated based on the hotel’s description.
My stay at The Place Hotel was certainly unique and nice. The location is perfect, really close to major attractions but located on a quiet street. However, the breakfast left much to be desired, and I found the lack of an elevator quite inconvenient. My room had its own quirks, but overall, the hotel's character and friendly service outweighed the more offbeat aspects.
